The Blue Lotus is Victory of Spirit over the senses. It signifies Wisdom of Knowledge. The sun-god who formed himself from chaos of Nun emerged from the Lotus petals as Ra. The forth Dynasty Egyptians greatly valued the "Sacred Lotus".
